Hot Honey and Bacon Whipped Goat Cheese
“Something with an unprecedented delicious combination and fluffy goat cheese.”
Glorious! You can’t describe this unprecedentedly delicious combination any other way. The fluffy goat cheese provides a delightful creamy base, the nuts upgrade it with a nice crunch, and the hot honey beautifully rounds it off. But the crown is undoubtedly that crispy bacon. Let’s whip up some goodness!
The ingredients:
(4 p)
HOT HONEY
- 200 g honey
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp Tabasco Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 6 slices of crispy smoked bacon
- 300 g fresh soft goat cheese, salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 60 g roasted pecans, roughly chopped
- 3 tbsp chives, thinly sliced
- 5 tbsp Hot Honey
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Crackers, toast, or chips for serving
Benodigdheden:
- Klein pannetje
- Keukenmachine
How to make:
Preparation: 30 minutes
Cooking: 5 minutes
Start by making the Hot Honey by lightly heating all the ingredients in a small saucepan for a few minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
Crumble the bacon. Place the goat cheese in a food processor fitted with a chopping blade and process the cheese for a few minutes until it becomes a fluffy cream. Spread the cream on a beautiful serving platter, creating a few swirls where you can pour the honey. Drizzle with the Hot Honey and sprinkle with the crumbled bacon, pecans, chives, and some freshly ground black pepper.
